What is balayage?
A highlighting technique which is more natural and low maintenance. The colour is painted onto the hair using 2-3 tones to create a sun-kissed natural effect and then a root smudge is designed.
What is ombre?
A darker root is created, also called a shadow, the hair gradually gets lighter and lighter towards the ends. Perfect for a client looking for low maintenance. There are other variations called Brombrè which is a darker version using ash and mushroom tones or a Sombrè which is a softer version using more blended soft neutral tones.
